Music Bookplates

If you are someone you know enjoys music, then consider making some music bookplates for their sheet music or even instrucment cases to identify them.

Bookplates are also known as "ex libris" or from books and can be used for many different purposes.

Music bookplates can be used on your favorite books on orchestra conductors, orchestras themselves, concert pianists and the like.

Making book category labels is an excellent kids crafts activity and one that can be done using a printable template for bookplates. I like the "Beautiful Harp - music bookplates" or the "Piano - music bookplates" as well as the elegance of the "Violin - music bookplates."

Simply think of a bookplate phrase and place it in preprinted text beneath your colorful music image. You can print your music bookplates with or mithout text, but I think text is what makes the bookplate special.

If you are donating a set of books to your local music club, indicate the name of your Band beneath an image such as the "Blue Guitar - music bookplates" or the "Drummer's Dream - music bookplates."

When you go camping, take some photos and make a set of books of your memories. Then label your books using a bookplate template that allows you to make many of them at the same time.
